I think that Kyle asks a very important sign of the times question there.

I wonder what a casual visitor to the board will ask in a further two years time?

Excellent point Mart. I read the question, wondered, watched the Youtube clip, realised Jk was talking about the legal rubbish that he went through. But the reason I visit here regularly and read the posts (havent posted before) is because I was a big Tipsheet fan, became interested in Jk and his hits and Genesis and Eurovision and 10cc and the brits and stuff and forgot all about the tabloid crap.

It's not that its unimportant to me, just a small part of Jks life and the rest is far more interesting.

The Police interview people in order to prosecute them. Therefore everything you say will be used against you in court !

They have a clear up rate to protect as well !!!

If they dont charge people on the spot it usually means they have not enough evidence to do so and therefore arresting them is basically a "fishing" trip to try and gain juicy tidbits in order to fabricate a case. Especially when it is one person's word against another.

The Golden Rule is NEVER to speak to the Police about anything. If you are innocent this is certainly the best way because hard evidence will not exist to the contrary ! We are innocent until proven guilty in this country and so we should be confident in saying nothing.

That video shows how many innocent people are stitched up - especially mentally ill people - by the Police trying to improve their clear up rates.

The Police exist to Crucify you..........ask the De Menezes family.

Indeed BR - I've said this before, the worst thing that happened to me in this entire drama was the dawning certainty that the police were NOT on my side and did NOT want the truth; they simply wanted a conviction.

In my naive and positive way, I could not understand how human beings could live with themselves after doing that.

And karma has proved me right since.

Theres protection under the European convention on human rights. Its been tested in Scotland and has proven to be successful.
