Cheers Matt, seen it but many have not.

Check out track 5 on this site

wwww.myspace.com/martinkitcherband

I think you will understand the nod that we gave Joe in retrospect to later works by other artists.

Also , check out JK`s "He stood in the bath " track, which may possibly have been born out of us posters asking him questions about the great and strange man himself.

Joes` recordings were legendary, all based on performance and what sound he could get from his abode.

You cannot re-create that feel he had, no matter how much you fake it with modern techno bollix.

Yes if it's the show I think it is I feature in it telling the story of recording with the great man - ten years at least before I wrote the song telling the same story in the lyric.

Ahem...
You didn`t answer the obscure question JK...

Was the Joe Meek song, on your album, a reply to message board intrigue, or breathing out loud?

No, I always wanted to do a tribute to him and came up with the title for the song which I loved and wrote the song in seconds - it just poured out (perhaps Joe sent it down).

He Stood In The Bath And He Stamped On The Floor - isn't that one of the best titles ever?!!!

That's one of your best tracks JK - 6000 views on You Tube.

It's quite punk.

"I Hate Coca Cola" is a genuine punk track too and would have sneaked through and been pogoed to along with many other tracks.
Very much like the great Alberto Y Los Trios Paranoias, from the late 70`s.

How can anyone resist the closing line..." I Hate......Meeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Dang, I`m going to have to put the bliddy thing on now........

I met Sutchie, he was every bit as eccentric one would have expected.

I know JK has done his Joe tribute, mine is a free download here

should you want it.

Probably slightly cryptic to many, but that is indeed me!
