It shows the damage that the current climate of suspicion and mistrust can cause to a child's sense of security and to family life.

It's a well written article and does show that events like this can disturb children. It seems society is filling kids with terror needlessly. Obviously children need to be cared for but are they at any more danger than they were 50 years ago ?. I doubt it.

I have a friend in Sydney who is a newspaper photographer and he tells me he has a hell of a time at sporting events-especially covering surf carnivals on Bondi Beach. It's now got so bad that even when he has everyone's permission he still gets evil looks from people at the "nippers" carnivals ( they're the little kids who want to be lifesavers ) but that's extended to even photographing the big beefy lifesavers as well.

And the law is-that no-one can actually prevent him legally even though the local council demands he get permission.

He also has lots of exhibitons and takes pics of nature..he took his own 2 kids to a national park and they were leaping off rocks with other children into rockpools..and when he started photographing them several mothers came up and abused and threatened him.

He's asked his newspaper if he can switch over to a desk job as he feels so guilty all the time now.

I bet those same mothers would happily put their kids on TV in exchange for money.

In a free country with Police it is the criminals who are afraid.

In a Police State it is the innocent who are afraid.

This story shows that the Police in the UK turn up for this - but when REAL crime is done they go missing.

We DO live in a Police State - it has crept in through the back door whilst the "looney lefties" have been pretending that everything in the garden is rosey.....

We are all being surveilled - our TV shows POLICE programmes almost WALL TO WALL most nights - and innocent Grandparents are made to feel as if they have committed criminal offences and our children are confused.

What a mess the UK is in - and we need a TORY party who can mend that - not one that continues this appalling state of affairs.

The way in which that Policeman treated the situation was totally out of order in my view based on the story as read.

People need to read the INFOWARS.NET site to see what is happening and the David Icke site. The creeping POLICE STATE is in ALL countries in the once called FREE WORLD - it is an agenda...who is behind it is sketchy and not clear - but the evidence says it is happening.

The KNOCK ON THE DOOR has been happening to increasing numbers of ordinary people - all it will take is one more "terrorist" outrage and we will all have our liberties curtailled in a more formal way........this story illustrates that "vibe" which the POLICE are not giving out.

Another example of what is becoming a cancer at the heart of the UK.

I read this and thought, 'how terrible', but then thought, is this just an embellished story by the Daily Mail to feed off our paranoia?

After all, they are good at it.
