Oh dear! 15 Years, 8 Months ago  
The London offering at the olympic handover was so poor I was almost embarassed. I do hope Leona Lewis will not be covering Whole Lotta Love as her next single. Was this really the best we could do?

And what has David Beckham ever actually achieved, sportwise? Why not triple gold medalist Steve Redgrave?

Oh well. It can only get better from here.

For a true reflection of London there should have been three buses arriving at once, also a Pearly King and Queen, a Hackney Cab, a Chelsea Pensioner and a chap from The City in bowler hat and pin stripes carrying a brolly and newspaper. Maybe also a Beefeater or two, and Chas and Dave doing a knees up.

All that could be fitted into 8 minutes and would have been more entertaining.
