TOPIC: Traffic in London

Traffic in London 15 Years, 8 Months ago
I don't have to warn you but you can imagine what it's like around my area with... the Notting Hill Carnival (85% of roads around here closed; fortunately I know the short cuts).
... the Mall and Buck Palace having that concert - half the roads closed there too.
... they have shut that road that goes parallel to Knightsbridge (where Harrods is) between Harrods and the park... which is causing a terrible jam.

I know all this because I've spent the last hour weaving through it all. Just about to cook a large roast gammon ham dinner!

I was in London earlier this month. The congestion was bad enough then. I'm sure more traffic lights have sprung up since my previous visit, and they seem to let one vehicle through at a time.

We enjoyed McFly a lot though so it was worth it. They were very good indeed.
we did not like Scouting for Ghouls much though as we felt they had gained weight and sang out of tune.
the lady from m People was brilliant though.

Heres an idea, use public transport, or are you to famous to go by tube. This is the idea of the congestion charge to stop people like yourselves pumping fumes into the atmosphere.
