Serious fire in the tunnel - I was there 48 hours ago in baby car.

Well, that is two days JK.

If it had been 48 seconds, or even minutes, it might have been a close shave. Two days is quite a gap.

Well I have to say that I have read that first on here and have now put the news on.

I have only recently got off that thing and I hate it on there, the AC failed when I was on it, and they had to hand out water to travellers.

I would have gone absolutely bonkers down there at this time, I do hope all are ok.

Funnily enough it was the best tunnel trip I've ever had; I missed my reservation by a couple of hours but they put me on the next train across - no extra charge - and I was last on; the train left within seconds and I reached Dover half an hour after reaching Calais.

Very smooth and efficient.

I admit my guilt. Baby car is indeed my passionate love. However, she is well over 16 years old. I bought her second hand in the mid 90s for
