TOPIC: New Sarah's Law trial

New Sarah's Law trial 15 Years, 8 Months ago
as Martin Narey, boss of Barnados, says "this will put children in greater, not less, danger".

Like all tabloid driven, not thought through, "victim" inspired schemes - almost certainly children will die as a direct result of this silly concept - if only because time, energy and budget will be spent in a time wasting way instead of in serious protection.

Barmy.

When people with no talent or ability other than being the tragic victim of an awful crime get into a position of influencing policy, and when the law makers become so intimidated by headline thinking that they simply follow tabloid instructions, death and disease follow swiftly.

Ms Payne is one dangerous woman.

I don't agree barn - I think she's a tragic woman, hit by the worst thing that could ever happen to a mother, who then lost her husband. It must have been unbearable.

And I'm sure she has been convinced (and used) by others - quite possibly with the best intentions.

I'm sure she really believes she is helping protect kids.

And I'm sure even the media people manipulating her are doing so for the same motives - whilst being well aware it will look good to the public and benefit them in approval and income.

But the road to hell...

And these days that road is increasingly confusing to follow.

What seems simplistically a good idea may, in practice and with repercussions, prove to be a disaster.

I think that is what makes her most dangerous. I don't think she has dangerous intent, just too much grief and personal bitterness to be able to make rational judgements.

I say this as a mother. Most parents that I know do not agree with this policy, or any of Payne's proposals. If she wants to make policy she should put herself up for election. I have no intention of checking up on my neighbours or any new friends. This breaks down trust and threatens the stability of society.

She's not clever enough to be dangerous. And the media know that she's not clever. The Screws Of The World manipulated her agony, and let's not forget this poor woman has realised the most terrible agony. She has been deliberately misguided by a media intent on milking the sensational for all it's worth.

When there are no terrorist attacks on western soil, nothing to tittilate the mindless; the recent purge of knife attacks 'kids killing kids' makes the readership depressed...as it puts into question their own lives and morality. That will never do.You really can't upset bad parents. We need 'nasty strange men' to tell the masses they are 'OK' it's only the paedos that are the problem.

Forget the fact that most children at risk are in danger from their own flesh and blood within the sanctity of their own home. Mums, dads, stepmums, stepdads...they are the ones who are the biggest threat to children...and the stats will always back me up. Always.

Yes Denise - this is what I meant by dangerous. Obviously the media are thriving on using Ms Payne's 'voice' as a front for their own campaign but she is providing this in the most ill informed and emotionally charged way possible which can only lead to terrible outcomes. There have been other grieving parents (thinking James Bulgar) who have reacted in equally dangerous ways. It's quite scary seeing th things that Ms payne is advocating in the tabloids regarding Gary Glitter and of course Sarah's law. It's all part of the same extremism that The Sun paper displayed when they told us to 'Stamp Out the camps' with regard to Gypsy and Travellor communities and is not something that she should become an authority or spokesperson on just because she has suffered a loss.

"Megan's Law"..and John Walsh in the USA-that self appointed children's "rights" campaigner drive so much of this rediculous with-hunt stuff.

Walsh is behind the ever increasingly restrictive US "sex offendor" laws. His 6 year old son went missing from Sears department store after his mother dropped him off in the toy department ( what mother leaves her 6 year old son alone ?).

It's never been proven that Walsh's son's murder was sex-related.What is never reported is that Walsh at the time was in bed with his girlfriend and his wife was going through a highly stressful marriage break-up with him-hence probably her unthinking action of leaving her son alone.

That's led to the dreadful "'To Catch a Predator'TV show where men are lured to a house by a supposed 14 year old and then arrested. In turn-one man has committed suicide after being apprehended and his family is now suing the local police force and NBC for conspiracy to enduce a person to commit a crime.

And following that-one street of residents is now furious after their local police force co-operated with NBC to use a house in the street for the show-they are now pondering a law suit ( and the 2 local cops have been fired).

Why no "car thief offendors" register ?. I've had 2 stolen in London-3 in Sydney. I'd like to know if there's a car thief living next door !

In the most dreadful James Bulger case , the 2 murderers have been given new identities and their locations are forbidden to be revealed. ( for good reason !)..as in the Mary Bell case.

So there you are-have sex with an underage person and you end up on a "sex offendors" register even after you have served your penalty.

Bash in the head of some little kid and the state will protect you.

The Guardian today showed that the Police are now keeping car number plate movements of ALL OF US on file for 5 years. They now can track us every day - everywhere.

Of course you may say the old chestnut - does it matter if we have done nothing wrong ?

My worry is that these systems may be hacked by gangsters or worse that an authoritarian state could be created that would mean we were all tracked.

Eventually the aim of the NWO is to Chip all of us and control us. Though the "powers that be" deny this - and tell us each step towards this is for our safety - they now dont even bother telling us that. They are just spying on all of us on a daily basis.

Welcome to PRISON ISLAND UK - where everyone is a terrorist or a paedophile........even if you forget to pay your TV License you get a HELICOPTER hovering above your house.......scary - but this is where we live !!!

Even Richard Littlejohn, fractionally to the right of Attila the Hun, thinks the Sarah's Law lunacy is bonkers.

Check out his Mail column.

Waste as much money as possible in this tabloid run society - and, whilst you're about it, encourage a climate where there will be more murders - giving great stories!!
