Awful Scottish policeman desperate to keep his fame level up 15 Years, 8 Months ago
On BBC News he went on about how terrible it was that this completely fictional story couldn't end up with dozens of juicy and profitable miscarriages of justice and why was it that all the fame and media celebrity he got cannot continue into large years of profit and fees?

Poor man.

The retired officer who led the Jersey "child abuse" investigation was, in my opinion, highly irresponsible to declare as fact that there are victims when the ongoing investigation has proven no such thing.

How old were the childrens teeth which they found? Could they date back to the war years when the building housed the Guestapo?

Too many assumptions based on too little evidence. This is how miscarriages of justice come about. A sad reflection on the British police force, and on the media who fail to properly challenge.

Richard Webster is the writer who is best informed about all this ( I think JK was the first to alert us to him)

www.richardwebster.net/index.html

There is a theory that bones could have come from a graveyard when the home was being built-in piles of filling. Apparently it's not an unknown phenomena on Jersey with the old burial grounds.

But the headlines that swept the world !

What is wrong with journalists today ?..I mean a good follow-up telling the true story would earn praise from any editor !.

I don't think we have any real investigative journalists left. All they do is re-write press releases and even then, they don't bother to follow up and check the facts.

No wonder a couple of guys in the USA can get away with scoring 50 grand by claiming they found Bigfoot when all they had was an old gorilla suit in a freezer !
