Is JACQUI SMITH crazy ? 15 Years, 8 Months ago
The Media accuses anyone who disagrees with New Labour "Mad or Bad or Dangerous"

But lets look at Ms Smith's latest pronouncement

"I will give local people the power to stop Lap Dancing clubs"

Now Ms Smith should know the history to the legalisation of Lap Dancing clubs because they did not exist in local towns until New Labour legalised them...

So we have the CRAZY Ms Smith legalising something and then announcing that she will then create powers to stop the thing she has legalised.

Even to a person who is not not involved in Mental Health - she seems to have "lost the plot" in a spectacular fashion. Maybe we should call the doctors to the Labour Party Conference because I am sure I heard Gordon Brown claiming the credit for sorting out the financial mess of the USA yesterday ( when it was Paulson and the fed bank/congress who putup the money )

Mass insanity in Manchester Week. The poor deluded fools then offer criticism in the Media against those of us who point these things out to them.

The BBC is like a puppy in love with their coverage..... the way our media has love ins with "Power" is very weird. Where did the impartiality go ?

Call a Doctor Ms Smith before it is too late.

I knew Smith was crazy when she began talking about how we must stop "paedophiles" from abusing virtual children in computer games. She has gone from crazy to complete lunatic since then. An aquaintance who works in child protection also shares my opinion of her. She has created so much more paranoia since coming into office that the police are now expected to help control people's imaginations and have less time for the genuine crimes.

That post brought tears to my eyes.

Virtual Children being exploited OMG

She may announce a new law about Virtual Children very soon if we are lucky.

Get some help Ms Smith......or find a less stressful job.

Maybe we should all just have "virtual" children and then get whatever government child benefits are on offer.

Smith and her cronies are really upping the ante on their attack on things 'sex' - they want using prostitutes & brothels completely criminalised, hardcore/fetish porn treated along the same lines as child "porn" and now they're aiming at lapdancing. Their favourite 'reason' for this criminising is 'some' participants 'may' be doing against their will, so it is ok to ban the lot..... consenting adults? Not any more.

I'm afraid it's all gone too far

I watched a video where the speaker suggested that when Governments are failing they try and deflect attention by appealing in the USA to a) Patriotism ( the flag ) and b) Religion. Supposedly this is not possible in the UK so our politicians go for SEX.

The comparison is the JOHN MAJOR TORY GOVERNMENT ( failing badly ) had a BACK TO BASIC campaign against sex mainly !!

Based on the fact that MAJOR and CURRIE were having some sort of ding dong at the time I think we can safely say that Ms Smith and Mr Brown may be an item - hence Sarah Brown upstaging Gordon today in an attempt to rival Ms Smith by making an appearance on the platform at the Labour Conference !!!

Politics is a murky game - and I would not worry too much about New Labour and Sex. Once they are voted out of power things hopefully will go back to normal and silly laws will be a thing of the past ( until the Tories are past their sell by date again )
