Now, yesterday, I was expecting a royalty cheque. As normal of course, this did not happen, although the post came as normal.

At around tea time, the next door neighbour brought my monies around, as the postman had given it to them as he was worried the dog would snatch it.

Two things here.

1; How and why should they have known there was money there?

2; How much junk mail do these people have to carry about which they actually did stick through my door yesterday for the dog to rip up?

I think the dog is very selective on what gets destroyed actually, the Parish Mag gets ripped to shreds, as do, any glossy supermarket or food "chain" discount leaflet, the important stuff, the dog drops at my feet!
Quite obviously why really, small dog smells a human hand on "real post" and treats it with respect, the mass printed mail outs dog does, as postie pointed out, rip to shreds with a "grrrrrrrrr , I`m not going to bring him that am I?" attitude.

Leave the spam to the spam filters, the post, to the dog filter.
