Censorship 15 Years, 7 Months ago
Don't like a novel?
Firebomb the publisher.
Society is creeping towards a nastier and nastier conclusion.

And it's inexorable.

Am I the only one who felt that this poxy government wholly tainted themselves in one's eyes with the blatant murder of David Kelly?

you have to remember that right wing groups have been bombarding messageboards for years and the story was carried in the Telegraph accusing the Prophet of being a paedophile ( He consumated his marriage when his child bride was 9 years old - culturally acceptable back then )

As I have mentioned before - New Labour and their right wing buddies would re-write the Bible etc to suit their new moral order where sex is used to criminalise everyone and thought crime becomes an offence. We are moving into far more dangerous times than just a censorship debate.

This book is designed to create more "tension" between races.....what purpose does it serve ? Remember this publisher is doing the far right wing PALIN biography/

Sounds to me like the BOOK is yet another NeoCon NWO attempt to stir the pot. If it appears in shops they will be pleased when every bookshop in the UK is burned to the ground etc. it will give them more excuses to villify Islam. I am a Christian and I can recognise religious persecution when I see it.

I can't imagine it was acceptable in many cultures at any time in history to have sex with nine year olds, though I'm prepared to be proven wrong on that. In any case, simply because the term paedophile hadn't been invented, this does not mean Mohammed wasn't one. The Koran is the last word of Allah, and Mohammed is his chosen messenger. Allah is all knowing, and by extension, has given the green light to pre-teen sex. Islam is on very shaky ground here and it knows it.

Religions simply cannot tolerate any level of criticism, and it comes as no surprise that the publishers were firebombed. Whether there was an NWO conspiracy is irrelevant. There is no excuse.

Persecution? Western civilization bends over backwards to accommodate these primitive dogmas. Religion is more sinner than sinned against in the field of persecution. How many rights do Christians have in Saudi or Iran?

Actually, I think this is all quite hilarious.

On the one hand the ideological faith of the liberal left holds that multi-culturalism is a supreme good and that any criticism of Islam is blasphemous.

At the same time, it also believes in the sacred cult of paedohysteria, with the definition of paedophilia carefully and ludicrously extended to include anyone who finds attractive somebody who even looks under 18.

Now, how on earth do you reconcile those two dogmas with the fact that Mohammed had sex with a prepubescent girl of 9?

And of course the right wing will exploit paedophillia to stir up hatred towards muslims.

Actually though, as far as I understand it, muslims aren't outraged on this occasion by the accusation that Mohammed was a paedophile because I think in this book his wife is portrayed as being 14. I think the offence is simply that it portrays Mohammed as having sex.
