Most of my research iis from the USA but that's where the "sex offender"laws emanated from in 1994 after a disturbing rape and murder of a child.

One simple aspect is that as sex crimes have never decreased since then, obviously these laws are of no use. But they could have the opposite effect-tying up recourses and concentrating law enforcement on an "after the crime" fact instead of prevention and safety.

Consider this : The USA may soon have a vice-president..and given John McCain's health, a PRESIDENT PALIN whose future son-in-law ,by a quirk of nature born in Alaska but in other states of the USA..would be CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER and placed on a register for life.Bristol Palin became preganant at the age of 17 ( we don't know how long she and her boyfriend had been having sex though). Her soon-to-be husband would be branded a peadophile or indeed, a VILE PERVERT !. Obviously he isn't but it's a good example of the total unfairness of these stupid laws that now brand nearly 2 million people in the USA-the vast majority who have their own familes and children and who are forced to pay a price.

Have you looked into the MK ULTRA cases which involve the White House - where it is alleged that BUSH senior and many neo-cons have run Child Sex rings ?

Just google it - there is a chapter going into GREAT DETAIL in the ICKE book - the biggest secret. You would have thought that publishing such a chapter would lead to ICKE being prosecuted for libel ( Serious and evidence based allegations are presented ) yet not one of the people ICKE names has taken any legal action to clear their name.

They may say they dont care about ICKE - but the fact that millions read his books and around 50,000 visit his website each day surely means he is a big player in the media - comparable to any TV station on SKY and Local Radio combined..........

So this person wont be the first in the White House !

Certainly with a global economy and so on - it is essential that the World tries to identify a common age of consent - otherwise the current position is totally unfair and actually means MORE paedophiles can exist because of the confusion. ( or maybe that is the aim ? )
