So here is an innocent man, a man who is so terribly terribly mentally unwell, it appears, both before his incarceration for a crime he did not commit and afterwards, and the Press are chasing him (stalking him?) as if their front pages depended on it.

Why is Barry "just in a hostel"? Why isn't he getting the care that he needs? And I'm not talking about banging him up in a mental institution, but proper community care with a team of people around him.

Why does it appear that when people are freed from their criminal incarcerations (criminal as regards the fact that they were totally innocent of all charges) that they are just bunged back on the streets with absolutely no support whatsoever?

I imagine Barry George has also been landed with a massive bill for his board and lodging during his wrongful imprisonment.

I'm glad you picked up on this Steve; the good old meeeejah may be proved wrong but they get their man in the end, as do the police.

The joy in "Fleet Street" when Sally Clark died was palpable.

Despite them never mentioning hounding and monstering her when she was a baby killer, they do like a happy ending. She died young, destroyed by the broken judicial system and the meeejah.

I agree with JK - we can see how the POLICE persecute people who get the "better" of them in court. They HATE it and remember the FOREST GATE TWO !!! They arrested them again for CHILD PORN which did not exist - and then when they were again shown to be vindicated on that they saw them on the street and jumped out and beat them up !!!!

Of course once you know that the POLICE have "fingered" you for their special treatmemt going to court is not an option.

My research on Police Corruption has led to threats towards me that if I go public with it I will suffer greatly. Hence I have not published. My family have been threatened as well. The POLICE are not subtle about this I might add. They dont care about threatening ANYONE when they know they have something to lose. But as a researcher and writer in my spare time I suppose I should have guessed that this would happen.

The general public and those reading this who have not got any direct experience of this probably think that Conspiracy Sites and so on are just on the "fringe" which some of them are......but the truth is contained within them. It is wrapped up in some "looney" stuff in order for them to be able to live their lives.

The STATE police are more worried about those of us who are clever enough to work out what they are doing than chasing criminals. Hence the budget for Terrorism etc is massive and then they never have resources for taxpayers who are robbed or attacked in their home. This ALONE should ring the alarm bells of anyone reading this.

They are happy to send hundreds of Police to Political Demos and spend millions filming and looking at ordinary people protesting ( to build their database ) but if you ring them up due to a robbery they have not even got time to do anything other than give you a crime number ( how nice )

How did we let our POLICE become a STATE STASI rather than a crime enforcing peoples' unit.

Barry George has shown up the POLICE big time - he has shown their corruption. That is WHY he must be "destroyed" in the media - anything less will not be tolerated by the STATE STASI. ( and that JK is why they are providing him with no help now he has been released - lamb to the slaughter )

As a balance I will say that when my elderly neighbour phoned the police about two men who tried to con their way into her home a car arrived within five minutes, followed by two others. The first officer drove around to see if he could spot the two men, while another uniformed, and two CID, remained to attend to my neighbour and get the details.

It was actually a bit over the top because I'm sure one car would have been sufficient. But at least they responded quickly. My main gripe is that modern police only come on the scene after a crime has been committed. There is no prevention.

I've just got hold of a wonderful documentary film called Taking Liberties. It's British and shows just how much has changed and how this country is heading towards a full police state in the near future - showing how the Terrorism Acts are being abused by the Police to simply attack and bully law abiding citizens.
