Ben Freeman - another career wrecked by another false allegation 15 Years, 6 Months ago
Until we as a species either ban all sex as bad or grow up about having it, this will continue.
False allegations get cash, sympathy, attention, revenge - and that's only from loonies who are not genuinely deluded.
Especially when encouraged by leeches looking to benefit from high profile convictions, meeejah desperate for nice filthy stories and bent public relations vermin after a hefty percentage, not to mention wimmins lib bodies who feel all men are horny scum... we must get this murky area of the law and morality worked out.

Just about every CELEB has had a "rape allegation" against them.
Even Ronaldo had one - and Van Persie - both of them footballers !!!!
It seems that if you are a Teacher - a Muslim - A celeb - then it is open season.
The compensation culture - plus the "Fame" culture makes a fair trial impossible.
Every bit of evidence presented at this trial seemed to point towards consensual sex between two people. Yet the Police ignored that and went ahead with a trial they must have known they would lose. Why ?
Would this bloke have been charged if he was a nobody ? Of course not.

Career ruined, the girl is not allowed to be identified (why is she not charged for false allegations?) and two years fighting to clear his name.
When this allegation came to light, I suspected that it was a false one, yet still went to trial.
Lets hope he gets his career on track again.
Sad thing is that people who have been raped/abused are even less likely reporting the case to the police as they will believe it is not worth the hassle.
They are also the victims like the Ben Freeman's, JK's (who was wrongly convicted), Sally Clark (ditto JK) etc...

people in the position of Ben Freeman should sue the false accuser for every penny he can, considering it's probably cost a fortune for him to prove his innocence.
The problem is, once someone has been through an ordeal like this they just want to put it all behind them and forget.
It's one of the great injustices of the law-even the innocent pay through the nose while the police have unlimited funds and resources. A lost case to the police means nothing..afterall, the taxpayer picks up the tab.
