Peter Kay 15 Years, 6 Months ago
Does anyone else find Peter Kay's new programme Britain's got the pop factor etc totally unfunny and uninspired. X factor has become a parody of itself anyway with all those sob stories and Kay's efforts just look totally bland. Also showing disabled people falling off chairs, hilarious!!! Come on Peter stick to stand-up.

I find Peter Kay completely unfunny full stop. He has never made me laugh. My ex thought he was brilliant so got to suffer much of his work. The talent show parody... my my my... what a genuinely original idea... Benny Hill used to do such skits all the time and was way funnier.

There were moments of pure genius - Mandela to Umbrella was my outstanding moment; I gasped at the cleverness of it.

Macca and Blankety Blank.

Pete Waterman's little touches throughout.

I thought it was often very, very funny.

Peter Kay's stand up is now very tired - his new stuff isn't very good, and his old stuff, well it's funny but we have heard it all before.

Phoenix Nights - now that was an exceptional series, more down to the writing of Dave Spikey and Neil Fitzmaurice. Their subtlety made Phoenix Nights - and it was totally missing from Kay's own written series Max and Paddy.

180 night gigs don't come around to comics that aren't popular. One mans meat etc etc.
