Seems this was caused by some paranoid head teacher. I'd be alarmed if this person was head of the school my kids attend.

It does show how the badly written child protection laws can be easily abused.

Maybe these new super prisons are being built to enable the government to round up everyone on the sex offenders register and confine them, as per the Jewish ghettos. It would be a popular move with the tabloids, and not at all out of character for this government.

The ice rink promoters should have responded that all Catholic schools should be banned as they are possible grooming places for pedophile priests.

In fact-lets face it- all schools should be banned as posible grooming places along with fun parks, the circus, movie theatres,ice cream parlours,parks,toy shops, concerts that attract those underage.. The Wiggles live performances, Basil Brush..everything.
