The important evidence in this case is that no money has been offered and no money accepted. Considering this, whatever is claimed to have been said becomes irrelevant.

A fabricated knot tightening around the neck of a member of the opposition front bench.
The Prime Minister who, as Chancellor, plunged the nation into serious debt now taking major credit for saving the nation from economic disaster after borrowing a Liberal Democrat policy, and even before that policy has been given time to work (or fail).

Spin Master Mandelson is definately back on the block.

My point RT was that certain "crimes" can result in convictions (and seven years sentence) when only "one person's word against another's" says an event even took place!

Yes, JK, I did get your point.

My point is that where there is no evidence, words alone do not a case make.

Same point really.

I think the media are using the Osbourne case to help try to bolster a failing government. Take our attention away from other more serious matters.

Both of you have made excellent points.

But I think MANDY coming back has meant the SPINOMETER is now at FULL THROTTLE again.

It has made politics more fun

Osborne's mistake was to try and win a political advantage over MANDY. That was poor judgement - MANDY is the MASTER OF DARK SPIN. Osborne is now finding this out to his cost.

Osborne has done nothing wrong - that is SPIN . Cases like JK are based on spin - in fact this is exactly how it works out in courts. If it is spun enough times in the press even if no offence has been comitted the person is found guilty. It is what ICKE calls "REPEATERS" and it is very dangerous.

Having been working/hospital visiting with son in the last few days I've missed this story, but I can certainly take most of it's content from both those sentences above!

Politics in this country these days is like that Monty Python sketch, but without the Sensible Party. Everyone is rather Silly.

Again you are spot on BR (as is David Icke). If you read Nick Davie's excellent book Flat Earth News you will discover how disturbing this is becoming.

I myself am now back working part-time in the Dark Arts as well..the media In Australia and the changes within 5 years are both alarming and extraordinary and have ramifications for the UK media as well.

There has been 150 year old publisher here of excellent newspapers-Fairfax with their Melbourne Age regarded as one of the great newspapers of the world. Many journalists go to Fairfax for the experience..move onto News Ltd for the money and most get 2 year stints in the UK and USA publications.(The Sun, NoTW, Times )

Fairfax is now controlled ( after it's split-up by the Fairfax family) by businessmen who have no experience in publishing. They have just given out generous redundancy packages to 500 journos and photographers ( profits in 2007- $200M ).

But those who grabbed the packages were all their most experienced and older workers..meaning sports writers who know everybody, great investigative journalists, photographers, the most experienced in stake-outs etc. They intend to publish quality newspapers with a bunch of 30 year olds.

Being businessmen..they have bought a half share in AAP-the biggest news agency in the world..and the other 50% ?..owned by Rupert Murdoch. So 2 publishers own the biggest news reporting agency between them and this is how they will operate..a story goes out on AAP ( already with reduced staff) with the barest fact checking.Often the story is straight from a private business, government department or police media release. It will be printed verbatim and it's distributed around the world and journalists everywhere simply write the story, perhaps with a few personal changes..but no fact checking is done.

So when the story is complete rubbish or entirely misleading-it spreads around the entire world. And if there is a follow-up showing the facts were wrong..try to find the correcting story on page 39 if at all.

Case in point-a High Court judge in NSW was charged with perverting the course of justice over falsified driving affidavits. Huge scandal, judge hounded etc for weeks on end. I mentioned his name to friends a week ago to see their reactions..they gossiped ( as I would) about the case yet NOT ONE SINGLE person was aware the charges had been silently dropped 3 weeks ago.The press reports were so minute you need a microscope to see them.

Which brings me to..whatever happened to Jersey and all those buried kiddie's bodies ?

That is really interesting Veritas.

It is the idea of "Repeaters" that stories planted in the news ( with no checking ) then get repeated around the World and become "accepted fact".

It is like Medieval times in this respect. Though in medieval times people probably knew tall stories when they heard them because their BD detector was refined.

Our problem is that as soon as a story appears even with no evidence MANY people believe it without questioning ( We have evidence of this on this very forum - and quite right JK is to publish these "views" to provide balanc )

The Terrorist Threat is being manipulated by the Gov and Media. There is virtually NO THREAT to us in the UK and the three incidents ( 7/7 - 21/7 - Glasgow ) were all powder puff. In fact 21/7 was not a true incident at all. All of these were "cries from the heart" about our 1 million killing in the Middle East ( rather a small response when you put it into perspective )

The Paedophile Agenda is more complex. The Governments are using it to cover their OWN sexualisation of kids. They want to ram sex education and sexual imagery into kids as young as 4 - knowing the results will be an undermining of our society. This is not natural or healthy for a society. I have no problem with ages of consent post puberty I might add in cultures that can support it through marriage. BUT the continuing sex agenda amongst kids is very very disturbing. This is the NWO agenda in my opinion. I do believe God gave good instructions on the tin for sexual reproduction -linking the act to love for the human race was real genius in terms of childcare following.
The NWO seeks to undermine that.
