Heard a version of this song last night when I watched a film on BBC TV



What an amazing vocalist JACKIE LEE was - ( Also sang Rupert the Bear ) crystal clear Irish voice which shimmered with emotion and power. She should have rivalled Dana for fame methinks.

Anyhow I dare anyone who was around pre Thatcher-Blair-Bush-Brown to listen to this and not remember what life was like back then.....tougher in some respects and less material belongings - but the feeling of freedom and hope that everyone had back then has surely been lost in 2008 ?

Takes me back. Memories...
