A fun season for the under dogs.

The thing with the "Underdogs", to quote the Bee Gees , "How Deep is Their Squads?".

Once the season progresses and injuries start to hit the , errrm, not quite as big as the rest clubs..that`s when the big 3 usually strike.

There can be some fun runs and shocks at this time of year, but sadly , it usually comes down to the size of the squad and the budget.

Delap used to play for Derby. Predictably, he didn't develop that particular skill until he left. Similarly, Phil Brown didn't become a good manager until he left Derby.

Don't talk to me about football. Still seething after getting back from the Derby v Nottingham Forest fixture. Never in 40 years of watching football have I seen such a poor referee. In fact I have never seen anyone display such incompetence at any profession in my life. And to be cheated against our local rivals of all teams.
