Food post - chicken curry - a pear of tits 15 Years, 5 Months ago

In the mood for Indian (about to watch BBC2) I invented a curry with onions fried in olive oil extra virgin, chicken (breasts of course), mushrooms, herbs, spices and chunks of pear instead of apple.

Delicious. With mashed potatoes and an avocado salad, cider to drink...

Comfort food; ready for Spooks.

Sounds fantastic.

Any chance of a "Recipe" section on the site where you can put these gems in one place.

Which cider do you prefer ?

I find Westons ( Waitrose ) and I also Frome Valley Dry ( Waitrose - Sainsburys ) really good - and the Herefordshire Cider from M&S is also Westons. I find the commercial brands sweet and gassy - and the French stuff a bit lacking in punch.
