One of JK's "replacements" on Talk Radio / Talksport got the push today following an interview where he called a Councillor "a nazi" and "ignorant pig".

Lots of complaints about "issues with free speech", but is name-calling a legitimate use of free speech?

Hire a host to be controversial and fire him when he is.

I've had several grovelling circular e-mails from Gaunt - the last one bleating "they have sacked me".

Still, at least he's not telling me to hug a child.

I think as long as people apologise then that is fine.

For instance many politicians are acting in a dictatorial ( Nazi ) way - so where is the harm in this.

I think Ken Livingstone called some people Nazis yet kept his job.....so why is this any different ?

The whole PC thing has wrecked any free speech.

You can insult people by alleging they are a PAEDO or TERRORIST at will in society without any evidence - yet when you do the same and call someone a Nazi or comment on their daughter's sexual conquests you get sacked.

What a strange world we live in where the TRUTH leads to sackings and LIES are rampant and are unchecked on the media...........

Funny how the head of Harringay Social Services is still in a job when everyone agrees her "service" is an appalling mess which has led to a child's DEATH and to 1 in 4 posts being unfilled and 8 out of 10 staff saying she should resign - yet because she is PC her job is safe.......

Stinks.
