The Economy Crashes as the BBC fiddles 15 Years, 5 Months ago
More big HIGH ST names tumble today - KLIK : Munroes have gone under closing over 200 shops in the UK !!!
At this rate the High Street will be decimated by the end of January.
Several big companies are teetering on the edge - and Woolies will probably close 30% of its stores even if saved.
Good to see the BBC News and Website front pages ignore the gathering meltdown - and that the Tories are not holding the Government to account.
Gordon Brown's VAT cut seems to have failed because it was not bold enough or big enough to revitalise the sales of goods.
Have heard people talking of various service sectors of our industry following EUK into admin. ZAVI have suspended on line DVD sales due to no stock because of EUK going under as well.
The economy is crumbling and a further million could be out of work by Easter at this rate. Adding them to the income support total and the disabiity allowance total that would mean nearly 10 million out of work in the UK - that is about 1 in 5 of the working population. Makes the 80s recession ( and UB40s 1 in 10 record ) look like a bowl of cherries in comparison.
Yet the BBC now lead on Mumbai and a 20 year old murder......yawn yawn "Terror and Paedo News" at the BBC. It is a real joke - they only properly report on these two issues. BROWN must be very proud of them hiding the actual situation out there as thousands of famiies face Christmas with no income and facing losing their homes.

Gordon Brown's not particularly worried. He knows that it'll be at least a couple of years before we all have to start paying for the enormous debts he's accumulated, and by then the Tories will be back in power so they'll get the blame for the problems that follow, just like last time.
The BBC have features the KLICK story, in their Scottish section.
