Does anyone else find it disturbing that schools and youth groups are now following "cultural revolution" style shopping of parents and "hitler youth" style dressing up to enforce the law in the UK ?

Maybe they cant afford real traffic wardens or Police in the North of England ?

If I had been put on traffic duty on a main road at the age of 8 years old my parents would have gone ballistic.

This only demonstrates how out of touch with reality BR is. Why be negative when the only purpose of this is to educate children on the importance of road safety? The article states that this has been beneficial. Do you really believe that this is a permanent measure and that we can't afford traffic wardens up north? If you want to make comments that have substance, may i suggest that you stop taking news article out of context. You're track record speaks for ITSELF.

As it's getting to the point I wouldn't bother checking BR's "facts" before telling him he's wrong he could do a double bluff and actually post something true and foil me.

There are two pages devoted now to this story on the ICKE forum - which shows that one of the UK's biggest forums takes this particular story very seriously.

Our kids should stay kids and should not be out doing law enforcement masquerading as education.

I suppose today;s front page of DAILY MAIL and the 3 hour debate in the House of Commons full of people saying more extreme things than me proves that I am out of touch. In fact I only know a small amount of the rubbish which is happening to our society at the moment.

Now it transpires there was not even a WARRANT to search the Office of the Tory Minister........so things are even worse than i have ever posted on here.

I might add that the PC that I have used to post on this board today totally FRIED up - and I could not sign onto THIS SITE with it.

Looks as if it is now completely useless - and yes when I checked the REMOTE was turned on......so read into that what you will. An expensive laptop which is less than 10 months old - now totally useless probably because of my posts on this ( and other ) forums.

I am not paranoid about this - I have had my computer networks destroyed 3 times in the last 6 years and "taken" once. I have excellent security on most of them - but the one that was fried was the least protected.

We are in a war - and the PTB hate this forum and hate what I am posting. Probably in a few years time you will wonder why you did not listen to people like JK or myself or those who are trying to warn you. It is not a "cry wolf" situation at all. It is genuinely happening out there.....

don't be too hasty..is it a local council and school project or the beginning of a nationwide campaign ? (I'm driven batty by these double-parked mums outside schools)

So it's kids dobbing in adults to 'pretend' cops..that does make 2 more tiers of policing !

If you start seeing 3'6" uniformd kids with clipboards and truncheons don't say BR didn't warn you !
