I have met no one who is talking about THE FLU in London. No one I know around the country is mentioning the FLU.

Yet the BBC Is now reporting this as if it is fact ?

Seems a funny story following on from their series SURVIVORS ( which was excellent )

What is the agenda behind this ?

Come on someone out there tell me they know someone who has flu. They are saying that doctors are overwhelmed........but normally when something is going around you hear about it. Not heard anything.

This is not propoganda. Where i reside, most of my family have had the FLU. I am on a course of antibiotics. The surgery was full of people with simillar symptoms. Indeed, many business colleagues throughout the UK have the FLU. Count yourself lucky, its a long lasting bug that appears to clear then comes back to bite you on the arse (not litteraly). I hope this clears things up for you.

It's OK Angel, our Lizard Overlords have managed to infiltrate news sources other than their BBC.

They'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for that pesky BR.

all that news comes from the same press release which is out on the wires.

You would think that if that has been happening for a few weeks then the local press would have already been reporting it - but not ONE local story - all are based on the single press release.

I have still found only isolated examples of FLU around the UK with these posts.

Seems it has dropped off the main news this morning - basically because they know they are "exaggerating" what is the normal cold and flu pattern of the year. It may be more than the last 8 years but not so much as to cause concern. At 39 per 100,000 it is way off a flu epidemic ( 200 per 100,000 ) and nothing like a pandemic.

Luckily they have more store chains collapsing today to keep the bad news coming for us all.

I do hope that no one gets flu this Christmas - it is horrible. But unless you are in a flu hotspot ( Liverpool and Crewe seem to be where it is ) then you should be fine.
