I love Russell T Davies and think he has been brilliant in charge.
I loved Ecclestone but am still not keen on Tennant.

This was a good Christmas romp though and Morrissey was tremendous (he's an actor I rate far higher).

Mind you, how about the OTHER Morrissey for the new Doctor?

Tremendous episode and seeing the two DAVIDs together was awesome. They are electric on screen together - possibly the best double act since Morecambe and Wise ( they should get their own series )

A very moving episode once you strip out the cyberbullies ( who reminded me of our current Government - clever but with no respect for people's views )

David Morrissey would make an awesome Doctor and tonight will surely have done his cause some great good. He is funny but sensitive - yet has the swashbuckling feel which the early Doctors used to have.......

I like David T as well - he has a great screen presence despite the one liners......he has brought a gravitas to the role plus the funny side.

The best thing on TV this Christmas was Wallace and Gromit, but this Dr Who was ok considering it was written by one of the worst producers in the show's history (my opinion).

Tennant's performance in this episode had shades of both Pat Troughton and Tom Baker.

Not really keen on the way the Cybermen have been morphed into virtual Cylons (Battlestar Galactica). They were always less robotic than that, and technology would advance rather than regress. But that reflects the overall lack of research and care since RTD took the helm.

At least the wonderful Paul McGann was given some acknowledgement in today's episode.

Why does everyone talk about Dr.Who all of a sudden? I posted this Tardis picture to my friends in October. Out of the blue everyone screams you lookalike Dr.Who. Trendy for 2009 are we?

I like David Tennant but the perfect Dr Who is probably still out there in the ether.

Surely we all agree..Dr Who is a fab show.

I've been talking about Dr Who since the 1960s.

Drat!!! Stuck in Ukraine,and not knowing if my partner recorded it for my return New year's eve.
Oh well,it's the only thing I ever seem to want to watch these days.
