I bought the DVD and watched it today - rubbish. Pointless and incomprehensible; I have no idea why everyone went on about Heath Ledger playing the Joker cartoon character...

Stupid confused "plot", Michael Caine phoned his part in, Bale merely adequate... I just wasted two and a half hours of my life.

Look on the bright side, JK. At least now you won't be spending time wondering if you missed anything good. In that respect, it wasn't a waste of time.

I didn't like Batman Begins and thought Bale was just unconvincing and boring throughout, thats the reason why I haven't bothered watching The Dark Knight.

Batman for me is Michael Keaton or Adam West!

I couldn't agree more..one of Heath Ledger's most disappointing performance. In fact-he did a real ham job in a pretty ordinary film.

JK...if you want reviews of films before you see them then I'm your man! I'm illegally downloading them and putting them onto discs. It's what the web was designed for. I could have warned you about 'the Dark Knight' last October. I think I did warn you about 'Taken' with Liam Neeson. A very silly film indeed. Another one I recommend is 'Vile Pervert The Musical' ...rather overblown and far fetched...top celeb 'wrongly persecuted' does a series of sketches lampooning the corrupt nature of the judiciary and the media. I know. Unbelieveable. Worth a look though. Oh sorry...you made it!

Is this board full of fuddy duddy's? It appears so. Ledgers performance was excellent and Bales was as good as ever. I think that's why Chris Nolan keeps working with him?? Dark Knight was film of the year. You lot are so out of touch!

Lets face it, the film is based on a comic book, which is about a man that flies, so basically its aimed at 12 year old boys, not sophisticated adults.

this is one fuddy duddy who was brought up on Batman comix..but I thought Heath Legder's best performances were yet to come.

I really liked him as an actor but I thought Brokeback Mountain was over-rated as well.

I thought Christian Bale was far better when he wasn't quite so famous-he put in some wonderful performances when he was younger.

But then again..I'm one who thinks Nicolle Kidman still has a good performance in her (although you wouldn't believe it from her films !! )

Well you should be ashamed of yourself for illegally downloading films for free. How do you think they can afford to make new films if everyone downloaded them for free? Not to mention it is funding illegal immigrants and terrorism.
