God the tabloids can be so stupid. Why on earth shouldn't Prince Harry joke about his friends?

It is time all this fake righteous indignation was banned from publication.

People who speak on behalf of those they have never met are being rather insulting and demeaning. The Pakistani friend hasn't complained. He knows it was a nickname used affectionately, but some among us think that the poor third worlder needs guidance and protection from us superior westerners. They are kidding themselves and being more racist than those they complain about.

Nobody would have batted an eyelid if the P word was replaced with Jock, Paddy, Taffy etc.

This truly was one of the great beat-ups of all time but it shows how even Harry can't trust anyone around him...obviously someone close nicked this tape.

It shows fairly innocuous joking around and was meant to be between friends. I hope the general public realises that they have a third-in-line who is quite prepared to join the army and oo his duty as part of being a Royal.

He originally manipulated his choice in Prime Minister in Australia in order to change currency transfer laws so he could buy the NoT and begin his global conquest. He cheer-led the Iraq War in the 3 main countries that paricipated. Even death is acceptabe if profit comes.

I think if Jade Goody should become public enemy number 1 for calling someone a popadom then the same rules should apply to Prince Harry. The term 'Paki' is a derogatory term used generally for asians, often by the NF and BNP. Prince Harry knows that and even if no malice was mean't he should still have to apologise yet again. Harry is clearly a young man who doesn't engage his brain before opening his mouth or taking action. What on earth was he thinking when he thought that wearing a nazi uniform to a fancy dress party was acceptable.

Personally I see nothing wrong with wearing a mock Nazi uniform to a private fancy dress party. People dress as all kinds of crazy things and it means nothing. It's just a costume.

As for the P word. It's short for Pakistani. I don't take offence when someone calls me a Limey, although I'm still not sure how that name came about.

I'm sure some people would cry racism if Harry had said "There's our Pakistani friend." "Why point out his race?" they would cry. "He is making it an issue!"

The NoW have made it an issue just for the sake of it. With all the serious stuff that's going on in the world they choose to waste time on this pointless crap. They should take the word News out of their title. How about The Weekly Stirrer?

I fail to see anything wrong in dressing up in fancy dress for a party or phoning someone to say their grand daughter had consexual sex or jokily calling a mate a Paki or most of the other righteous indignation topics.

The media want a good story. That's all that matters.

So they exaggerate and inflate and colour and express indignation.

There are serious problems in the world. Let's sort them out and avoid the smokescreen created to sell tabloids or boost ratings.

shouldnt the BBC ban FAWLTY TOWERS on the basis that there is one episode which features Goosestepping and hitler impersonations ?

I do hope they dont make any money out of this show and that NotW will treat the BBC in the same way that they treat HARRY.

Shocking hypocrisy.

The WAY in which the term was used determines whether the term was racist. If HARRY did not mean it in a racist way then it was not. I have no idea whether he is a racist or not. But to jump all over him for this is crazy after 3 years.

NotW is desperate to sell papers because it must be close to closing down ? it cant sell enough papers to survive surely with its poor standard of reporting.

I think there is a difference here.. Harry obviously made this tape for himself (although he committed the first cardinal mistake...never put something in writing).

He wasn't producing something to be broadcast. You cannot legislate aginst stupidity..otherwise his grandfather would have been found guilty decades ago.

I've yet to se any outrage about how the NoTW obtained this tape.
