TOPIC: Blueberries - the best fruit?

Blueberries - the best fruit? 15 Years, 3 Months ago
Meant to improve your memory.
I eat loads every week but for one reason - I love the taste. Always have.

I turned my Mum onto them in the last couple of years of her life. Astonishingly she'd never eaten them and she adored them, with cream and honey.

The best I ever had (as to fruits) was a fresh sticky mango in a hotel room in Jamaica. No joke!

Just chatting to Carole on the subject of Best Fruit - I think I'd have to give my vote to... CHERRIES!

the most useful fruit has to be the tomato.

Surely Anita tomatoes are vegetables not fruits?

I love them, mind you, and probably eat/drink more tomatoes than anything else.

I was always taught that they were a fruit also, but it does seem a fine line as a capsicum is without doubt a vegetable.

According to Wiki, tomato is a fruit.

Where's the best place to buy blueberries? They are so expensive, especially at this time of year.

You'll find them in most supermarkets - both M&S and Waitrose sell them at quite reasonable prices.
Try them with cream and honey.
You'll be addicted.
