Watching Obama's inauguration live, one couldn't but help feel good at the goodwill coming from the 2 million Americans in Washington.

What an extraordinary contrast-a Harvard Law professor compared to ..well what on earth was George W.Bush before he became president ?.

Obama is a commanding speaker..I feel there were so many underlying messges in his Inauguration speech. It was a repudiation of the last 8 years. Time will tell of course.

One annoying aspect of the media which is at it as usual-stating Obama fluffed his acceptance oath. He did nothing of the sort.

Watch it carefully-Justice Roberts foolishly tried to say the oath without notes and got it wrong-left out important words like "faithfully uphold the Constitution". That threw Obama briefly but he recovered and actually said the oath as it's written-not as it was said to him.

There in a nutshell we have an example of the media at it's most lightweight.
