One of President Obama's first actions as President has been to halt the court proceedings against detainees in Guantanamo Bay for 120 days while he and his staff can review their cases. Observers say that it's unlikely the cases will proceed, and that the USA will talk to the Yemen authorities about repatriation of their detained citizens.

Yesterday, Obama also stopped all orders and legislation which had been signed by George Bush during his last few days in office.

He certainly hasn't wasted time.

Guantanamo was a disgrace.

Invading Iraq was a disgrace.

Murdering innocent people in the World Trade Centre was a disgrace.

Murdering Dr David Kelly was a disgrace.

Jailing me with a seven year sentence for crimes that never took place was a disgrace.

Giving people loans and mortgages when they could never repay them was a disgrace.

Things can only get better.

George W.Bush looked very uncomfortable during Obama's speech as Barack basically implied the last 8 years had been an un-Godly mess which he was going to try and fix.

Even just fixing US health care would be an achievement-given that that was the reason for the whole Monica Lewinsky derailing of Clinton's presidency.

No-one can remember now that Hilary Clinton was tasked by Bill when he became president , as a special envoy to investigate the successul socialised health care systems throughout the world with a view to introducing similar to the US.

Drug companies are the most powerful in the US and were Bush's biggest backers ( followed by oil corps). That's when they went after the Clintons with a vengeance.

Obama doesn't have any skeletons in the closet..I hope the Secret Service are up to the job !

Obama's speech didn't really say too much different to what the writer William Blum said in 2006:

Much of Prison Planet and Icke worldview is that the controlling interests within the World make sure "their man" gets into power.

If OBAMA genuinely changes from their agenda then we will see his demise.

He has started well and I believe he really wants change.

What then happens is that his "Plans" will be derailed by those who want war - they will over the next few months try and arrange an "event" to make OBAMA have to look tough. 9.11 was an event to try and make BUSH pass crazy laws - and it worked.

The economic crisis is real and is being created by THE POWERS in control. They wish to get assets and money from people. Every person and company that goes under adds to their pot of money.

They are positioning themselves for the next 50 years. They want ID cards and international travel to end. Even local gatherings are frowned upon. They wish to keep us servile and as a slave race.

This is very much the message of PRISON PLANET. Consumer consumption just hides the reality that our real freedoms are now being eroded. Having the latest flatscreen TV or fastest car or biggest house is no substitute for real freedom to walk down a street with no fear and without being monitored by security services CCTV - and being able to visit countries without having to give DNA or fingerprint scans and fill out loads of paperwork to be added to a profile on a COMPUTER somewhere.

Yes we have a small chance of improving our lives. Lets hope OBAMA takes it and survives long enough to implement that change. In addition the enemies of freedom need to have no luck at all in their planning and scheming against the rest of us.
