so says the new head of the Met.

I'd say no policeman can be proud whilst the institutionalised laziness and corruption makes getting a conviction more important than getting the truth.

He seems a nice bloke ( which is more than can be said for many who are in the force )

I just think whatever he does with Jacqui Smith on his shoulder and New Labour legislation

"MORE NEW LAWS IN THE LAST 10 YEARS than the LAST 100 PUT TOGETHER"

that he has very little chance of success.

Lets see if he sorts out the Damian Green affair. Lets see that as the warm weather comes ( because that is when knifings happen ) he has a strategy to deal with knife crime ( It went down in Decemnber and January to zero because of the weather keeping these feral kids off the streets - they dont own coats )

Boris will slaughter him if he takes any political stand - so at least he wont be like Sir Ian Blair.

Finally with only 7 Police out doing Police Work while 193 sit in a Police Station ( Probably pretending to be a paedo in a chat room or running a car business illegally ) is it any wonder we get such a rubbish service from our Police.

The STATS are manipulated by 193 police while 7 go out to work in my view. The Police spend their time "spinning" every positive stat they can squeeze from a society that is seeing RECORD NUMBERS in Prison and lawlessness on the streets which makes many areas of the UK no go areas at night unless in numbers. Certainly single people or old people and young people get attacked if they go out alone in almost all cities around the UK.

The only answer is a change in Government and then strong leadership towards a better society.

At the moment we have a Chav Class which New Labour has cultivated - getting fat on benefit deals and tax breaks - whilst the workers have little benefit and are a target for Chav crime.

If we put all these people back to work in public projects then we would see the UK back on its feet. We can put out litter teams to clean up our filthy countryside and cities - we can "green" up industrial areas and brownfield sites. Create play areas and make the UK more pleasant. Why should they sit on their bums doing nothing and getting paid more than people who work. It is ridiculous.

It is better under New Labour to not have a job financially. You get Income support - Tax credit - loads of child benefits - housing and council tax - free NHS and dental - adding up what they get the average Unemployed person EARNS around £500 a week including rent for nothing. That is in excess of anyone earning less than £10 per hour. So for anyone working in retail - catering - cleaning - agrictultural - self employed - this is far more than they will ever earn. That is wrong.

Our society rewards corruption and racism and lazyness and condemns those who are successful ( Robinho ) That is the legacy of New Labour.

Oh come now BR I think you'll find that success is rewarded especially in the footballing world. Wereas I do have sympathy for anyone who is the victim of false allegations..Robinho included... it's always a bad idea to condemn the poorest and most vulnerable in society as lazy criminals. With thousands now struggling to find work, the 'rewards' for being unemployed being around £60 per week, I should think the last thing they need is being told that the ills of society rest with them and a government who are mollycoddling them.

Robinho is on about 150k per week for kicking a ball about. The gap between rich and poor has actually widened under New Labour than it did under Thatcher.

Many would find your comments offensive and grossly out of touch with the reality of unemployment and poverty.
