a story of a suspected person being knifed to death by a drunken fool and bizarre prosecutor statements after the fact show the way Britain's courts are chipping away at freedom:
*******************
"The prosecution said Mr Harries' arrest was 'irrelevant' to the case.
'It is understandably repulsive in the minds of right thinking people,' he said.
'There were residents of that estate who were angry and concerned he (Mr Harries) had moved there. One was Daniel Williams.
'What images he may have had, however flawed an individual he was, Geoffrey Harries was still human and no-one had the right to kill him.
'Society rightly condemns anyone who has such images on his computer. Had he lived he would have received the appropriate punishment from a court of law.
'That is the only way a civilised society can operate. The other is the way to lawlessness,' added Mr Thomas."

The man had never faced a court and was innocent unless found guilty..even in death. This prosecutor is so out of order...he pronounces guilt without it ever being proved. He is a disgrace. The man's widow and family deserve justice even though he is no longer alive. Chip chip chip away....
