Fox saves Narnia 15 Years, 3 Months ago
As expected, 20th Century Fox have taken over production of the next Narnia movie - Voyage of the Dawn Treader - after Disney pulled out. The movie is still on course to be completed by 2010.

Strange that the sequal did so badly compared to the orginal film. Usually they get more popular as they go along when you add in the DVD audience.

Cant see this as much of a gamble though - it will do as well as the first film because by its release the first film will have been shown on TV ? thus engaging an even bigger audience into the stories.

Looks as if Disney have been credit crunched or want to concentrate on their High School Musical type brands where they are having big success.

The reason I haven't rushed to see Price Caspian is that the trailer showed that they had strayed somewhat from the book by making Caspian a confident man when he was a fairly timid boy in the book. Caspian looks older in the movie than he's supposed to be in the sequel 'Dawn Treador'. It may seem a minor thing, but I'll wait until it comes on TV before watching it. That's just one reason why fewer people might have paid to see the 2nd movie.

The Lion Witch and Wardrobe was wonderfully filmed and was very true to the novel.
