Martin Armstrong the economist has published a paper on the current crisis.

Not sure where you can read it - but it is published on the David Icke forum

A QUOTE
"The credit-default swaps are alone worth about $60 trillion. This was a stupid product for it has so tangled the world there may be no way out. This product created the false illusion that you did not have to worry about the quality of the loan because it was insured. We have no way of covering this level of implosion. Add the unfunded entitlements and then the state and local debts who cannot print money to cover their shortfall s, and we are looking at a contraction of debt that is simply beyond all contemplation."

Basically he is saying the system is wrecked. We will need 60 x £2 Trillion bailouts just to stabilise the damage of what has happened.

The World Economy is literally seconds away from total disaster ( hence Brown's deep furrows and Obama's lack of a smile since taking office )

If the World Economy goes ( and it could go within one hour ) Then the value of ALL assetts will be worthless overnight. The money in your pocket - your savings - goods - services - will mean nothing.

We will be into a barter system and possibly World War as countries seek to feed their populations. Remember we dont produce enough of anything in the UK to survive or even produce the power to heat and light our houses.

I blame GORDON BROWN for the World Economic Crisis. His running of the FSA meant these evil CREDIT DEFAULT SWAPS were allowed to take place - and they have destroyed the World Economy.

Forget trying to blame bankers or greed - it is the system that has broken down. The system allowed by GORDON BROWN.

He surely must resign and take full responsibility for destroying the World.

I keep warning everyone I meet : stock up on dry good
goods at home. Buy some Camping cooking stuff from Argos and plenty of canisters of gas. Get solar and wind up radios and lighting. If you have money then get some generators which can be fuelled easily....perhaps by growing rapeseed in your garden.

This is not scary scary - but a better insurance policy than the Prudential. We need to insure the basics of our life - and that means FOOD - LIGHT - HEAT - WATER. If we do that then we need not fear any crisis. We will be able to ride it out.

I predicted 5 - 9th FEB something would happen.....it could have been the Wildfires in Australia.....the bad weather in the UK......but I think it is the Bail Out failure as admitted on the 9th which is pushing the World into a very dangerous place.

By 2010 the bail-outs will not work.

I love BR...bless him. Remember he was born a fat glistening baby, naked to the world, and at least he's one of the few who has managed to escape brainwashing which of course begins from the moment you are plucked out! I applaud him.

He correctly predicted THAT there would be news stories between the 5th and 9th Feb. You CANNOT deny he was accurate!

Notice the fires in Oz FOLLOW the NWO fear system and create THE invisible enemy aka "Arsonists"... sounds a bit LIKE terrorists! Makes you think don't IT.

I going to plant rape seed - you do what you think best.

BR is right that we could not look after ourselves as a country if a real crisis did develop, with all our self sufficiency having been laid bare. Thatcherism is more to blame for this state of affairs than Nu-Labour though.

The risk of what BR describes is quite low, but we are extremely vulnerable as a nation.

There is method to BR's madness !..and much truth in what he says.

I believe the financial crisis is a calamity of major proportions but I don't agree that it's Brown's fault-it started right back with Maggie and Ronnie but they were just instruments in the hands of others.

Those in power with real wealth never forgave the great US president FDR who they considered a class traitor and a socialist for his New Deal to cure the woes at the time. These are people who were like the great Robber Barons of the 1890's who first brought the US to it's knees.

They are like feudal lords who think everyone should still be serfs. It's madness to believe this thinking doesn't still abound. They were there cheering on Hitler and the Nazis and they weren't just the German industrialists-plenty of US & UK powerful figures agreed with the Nazis.

The greatest scam of all time has been "Gloablisation" with the quite awful justification that it's to aid third world poverty. The countries who have invested most in globalisation have all lost there manufacturing bases-the US, UK, Germany, France , Australia etc-all have moved manufacturing off-shore.

You want to survive ?..work out a service that the Chinese need..despite their cut-backs they are still the coming force..welcome to 1984 !! (just a quarter of a decade late).

One plus-enetertainment and the good times boom in these times..remember the Roaring Twenties !!

Mrs Thatcher encouraged self sufficiency. Large industry was failing and so she helped people to form their own businesses so that they were not dependant on the one employer who might go bust tomorrow, and she helped strengthen our agriculture which is what keeps us fed.

Nu-Labour has destroyed our agriculture, having little understanding of the countryside. They think we can always buy from Europe - but if there was another war in Europe we'd be isolated and in deep do-do.

Quite a few of the people I know who were encouraged to start businesses under Mrs Thatcher are still operating and seeing growth today.

What destroyed our larger industries? Unions and greed. Huge wage demands resulting in hiked up prices driving customers to look elsewhere (usually overseas). Thankfully, Mrs Thatcher delivered us from most of that.

I do agree that the Worse case scenario is probably only a 5% chance.

But we insure our houses and so on for an even smaller chance of something happening and hand over thousands of pounds in our lives.

Therefore I do think that everyone should do a "survival" audit - and do it as a family. Our ancestors did this all the time because of wars etc and knew how to survive. Today I believe all of us have lost some of that survival sense.

It was the Buncefield Explosion which cleared the shelves due to supply problems which reminded me of the fragility of our supply chain - and the South East is so crowded food would run out in hours in a time of emergency.

wasn't it thatcher who said we don't need manufacturing all we need is services ? yes it was,
unlike germany who are and will continue to be a lot stronger than we are despite the merging with a bankrupt east germany
well the services that thatcher promoted and encouraged have failed due to the deregulation that started in thatchers "reign" and continued under new labour (a continuation of thatcherism) and now we are in a mess to say the least
history will review thatcher's reign with a cold hard factual eye not rose tinted spectacles and the verdict will be damning
