Massive and important conference yesterday 15 Years, 2 Months ago
The Challenges of Historic Allegations conference in Manchester on 16th Feb was attended by many of the best and most important people in the area of false accusations ranging from Lord Justice Hooper, one of the top judges in the land, to Jim Gamble, Witchfinder General.

At £207 per person, the fact that it was packed out spoke loudly for interest in this exploding area of (mis)justice.

I was mentioned in depth (causing a top barrister afterwards to exclaim "is that really true?" about my situation and ECHR case, before apologising for doubting it).

Presented by Garden Court North Chambers, the stars on stage were Claire Curtis Thomas MP, Bob Woffinden, investigative journalist, and representatives of the CCRC, CPS, police, psychologists (the more a witness gives details, the greater the likelihood he or she is lying) and lawyers.

It is swiftly becoming clearer and clearer that a huge amount of convictions for abuse are unsafe. Numerous examples of teachers who were apparently totally normal except for a six month period when they suddenly became paedophiles - reverting to normal again afterwards - ???? - and similar obvious breaches of good sense (like the changing of the dates in my convictions without allowing me an alternative defence) are mounting all the time.

I begin to hope that the change in attitude I begged for nine years ago is finally taking place.

I seem to recall another large gathering, known as an All Party Parliamentary Commission, which investigated similar things, came to the conclusion that too many innocent men are being wrongly convicted, that Britain has a serious problem and that action must be taken quickly.

The Government responded by sitting on the reports and introducing legislation to make it even easier to convict without evidence.

Politicians need people to believe the paedophile hype, along with the terrorist hype, so that we will be more willing to accept new laws and restrictions (for our own protection). For this reason they will never accept any findings which threaten their agenda.

Sorry to be cynical again, JK.

The main problem is that politically these allegation led investigations are used to smear political opponents.

They are also used to undermine professions ( such as teachers and vicars ) and to allow for celebrity show trials to keep the chavs happy.....

Therefore they have the purpose to maintain control of the population and to titilate the masses who then justify their own behaviour.

The true facts of the matter are that the authorities are involved in drugs and sexual abuse up to their necks. They use allegations against others to hide their own dirty doings.

This is basically the "law of the playground" in other words - you accuse the other person of what you did before they can open their mouth about you and what you know.

Many of those who are alleged against are WHISTLEBLOWERS against the authorities and so need to be thick skinned and sure of their rights and innocence.

Perhaps one day the law will stop the media from reporting allegations and charges in these cases. Thus allowing those involved some privacy. Then there would be one less incentive for a false accuser - because many of them are attention seekers.

Hooper's speech was fantastic. Gamble was loathed and so bigotted. A bullet headed man stood up in Woffinden's speech and complained about Webster's Bryn Estin book.

Curtis Thomas is really strong now and MPs are listening to her. She should be Prime Minister.

Newby and Barlow very good.

Round of applause after Bob explained your ECHR case. Many wondered why the CCRC hadn't supported you. Weeden pink and flushed with confusion.

Do you have any links JK to any reporting on this ?

A case is just unfolding in Sydny now where a highly respected teacher at the state's top private school has
been accused of offences against 2 men -25 YEARS AGO !

Police have outrageously been in the media calling for more "victims" to come forward..one has..but not against this accused-one has made a complaint about a retired 71 year old teacher from the same school accusing him of offences 30 YEARS AGO.

Friends ,families and colleagues of these 2 are absolutely devestated as they were both refused bail and led into court in HANDCUFFS !.

Can you imagine 2 highly respected family men treated like this-not even bank raiders are handcuffed in court.

Meanwhile-abuse of children in NSW alone-mentally, physically,by neglect and significantly-sexual assault by family members is at epidemic proportions with politicians and police completely uninterested.

I get so angry at this-real abuse goes unattended whilst false accusers jump on the compensation gravy train
