Gerry Rafferty 15 Years, 2 Months ago
I found out this week that Mr Rafferty has been MISSING for six months. This news has only now started to be reported!

Latest news was that he's been found and is safe and (relatively) well.

When I met him once on Top of the Pops he was deeply unpleasant and barking mad but perhaps it was a bad day. Baker Street and other classics are great.

I've read somewhere that he earns about 80.000 pounds/year from "Baker Street".

Could this be true? With most of the income from performance royalties?

years and years of over indulgence in alcohol don't help somebody's well being.

I expect Baker Street does keep him comfortably in royalties. Solicitors only tell people what you tell them to. They say he is in Tuscany recording a new album.

Lets face it nobodys going to be buying that album. I believe he used to work with Billy Connolly a lot.

I thought that was a hit for Simon Turner rather than yourself.

Not a hit, sadly, but I produced it.
