Latest news was that he's been found and is safe and (relatively) well. When I met him once on Top of the Pops he was deeply unpleasant and barking mad but perhaps it was a bad day. years and years of over indulgence in alcohol don't help somebody's well being. I expect Baker Street does keep him comfortably in royalties. Solicitors only tell people what you tell them to.
