The residents of Merseyside are to pay 5% EXTRA Council Tax to pay for extra Policing.

WTF? Liverpool is swarming with Police, mostly in their "protective" yellow vans filming everything in sight and there is a heavy Police presence in the city centre... and still it's not enough and we residents are expected to cough up extra to pay for even more...

basically we are being taxed to give jobs to those who wish to rule us. They certainly do not protect us from crime anymore.

I think the POLICE should be privatised - and then each area could pay for the service. Then if the service was rubbish they would be replaced ?

We should have some choice in this.
