The question on everyone's lips from New York to LA to London to Tokyo is......WHERE HAS ALL THE MONEY GONE ?

Our Government ( along with every other ) is pouring trillions of pounds/dollars/euros into the banks on a daily basis.

But this money does not seem to be going anywhere. In a normal situation inflation would not be rampant as cash swishes around in amounts that are mind boggling. Each country has thrown its GDP at the problem or more.

So WHERE has all this money gone ?

Even if it was created out of thin air by the FED or BoE etc. it exists. Even if it only exists electronically it does exist.

So where has it gone ?

I find the fact that our Governments keep throwing a few hundred billion here and there each week ( That is taxpayers money or borrowed money against further taxpayers receipts ) to private banks and companies slightly alarming.

Is this money coming back to the Governments ? and if so why do these banks need it now ? who are they "paying off" - and in which case why arent we allowed to know WHO is getting this money.

I suggest that if this was not a "dirty little secret" the press would have asked this question by now.

Well this has been sitting on this forum for most of the day - surely someone wants to at least guess where it is ?

Surely someone must know where these trillions have gone - they cant just have disappeared ?

The benefit system takes a big percentage of tax receipts. But it really is insignificant in the general scheme.

The TRILLIONS being sloshed around in bail out money are massive. They are loans. But why do companies need to borrow so much money ? and if they get paid back where has the money come from ?

The whole situation seems to be unravelling.

Brown gets more irritating as he continues to "SHOUT" about new global this and solving the problem. Even the USA Fed leaders look as if they have no idea what is happening - and look powerless to stop the slide.

It looks as if the Capitalist System itself is actually broken. If BROWN wont admit that - then there is no hope of this turning around. He is so stubborn that he will drive the UK into the WALL and our economy will CRASH completely. I see no hope for the UK whilst he is in charge. If we get out of this situation it will be because other countries throw us a lifebelt.

I really think we need an election to take the heat out of things - and to provide some HOPE like in the USA.

well I don't know where it's gone..I haven't got it and don't know anyone who has.

But someone has certainly got all that money.

It's been the greatest scam of all time..the previous was the Iraq War which was described by the conservative Republican Pat Bucchanan as "the greatest theft and handover of public money to private hands the world has ever seen".

Personally-I would have preffered to see capitalism carried through to it's final conclusion and every bank etc collapse. We would be better off in the long run..whatever they are doing now is delaying the inevitable-total collapse !!

well I've always viewed the dole etc as a perfect way for a government to pump bilions back into an economy every week that gets spread throughtout the entire system..it goes to supermarkets, pubs, you name it. It certainly doesn't go into banks or useless shares.

but then I would -still being a socialist.

I reckon we are fast approaching the day when there will be a 'social wage'. People will be paid not to go to work (unless you know where all these new jobs will come from-I don't)

It's that or job-sharing. Or the NWO and we all become slaves.

Only today they are PAYING TRAINEE laywers to NOT WORK next year - £10K.

They already pay many farmers not to farm.

It is getting crazy.

Most people will be unemployed or semi employed by time this "crisis" is over.

The "Era of Industrial Working" is over for the developed world.

We now need to look at New World Order !!!! where things are going to be very different.

We are seeing the biggest changes since the Industrial Revolution and then the Mass Production Tech era of the 20th Century.

Our lives will look primitive compared to what is to come.

I am still trying to work out where the money has gone.

If it has been created then surely it must be somewhere.
