Does anyone doubt that had the roles been reversed-with Alfie 15 year old and his reputed girlfriend 12 years old that he wouldn't have been hauled into a court (baby or not) and accused of being a rapist/pedophile/sexual abuser and any other number of names ?.

(along with the other lads who all claim to be the father)

Not that I would want to see any of these kids in any trouble.

But let's jump forward 10 or maybe 20 years ahead and suppose that the inventive Max Clifford hadn't come foreward to turn this tale of underage sex into a money spinner with the assistance of a gutter tabloid.

Let's imagine the girl is now a 25 or 35 year old a married woman, single lady, school teacher, nurse etc etc...and Alfie visits his local police station and claims that this lady sexually abused him when he was a 12 year old lad.

The woman claims Alfie was a willing participant !

(the roles could be reversed)..

I can see the headlines condemning this woman as a child molestor. I can see her condemned in the dock as a "vile pervert" and sent down. The tabloids would have a field day.

Someone please explain this mystery ?
