Only one was a full arrest, but the other came close.

One for allegedly photographing a drain cover.

The other was for the "offence" of laughing while driving.

"It became a bit ridiculous when he wanted to know the colour of my hair as I have alopecia and there isn't a hair on my head. When I pointed this out he asked "What colour was your hair when you had some?"

Know how the guy with the drains felt.
I also was held for 2 days in a police cell. And yes they automatically keep your DNA and fingerprints etc.Even if you're not guilty of any crime.
What's more the government are trying to worm out of their obligation to destroy these,as per the European court ruling.
This is more and more like a police state, but why are crime levels still rising?

Crime levels are rising because the Police are chasing "soft targets" - basically "some bald bloke laughing - probably in a nice car" was enough to get the one brain cell policeman to try and bully him.

Policing is not now about catching criminals or preventing crime. It is about "control" of people who have free thought or who are happy.

We are not allowed to be happy because we are meant to be in a state of fear ( Terror - Paedos - Big Brother ) so anyone breaking the norm is seen as a target.

Our best response is to smile all the time - and then THEY may realise that they cant beat all of us in society into slaves. We dont need to riot or anything - just ignore them.

Bullies are best defeated by ignoring them and standing up to them.

But if WE smile all the time THEY might think WE are happy with the society THEY have created.

Just this week a small anouncement was made on local TV here in Sydney-barely touched the sides of the mainstream media.

NSW State parliament is enacting new laws (and other states always follow) that will enable police to enter and search people's homes without a warrant and whether the person is there or not and need never tell that person. Plus they can acesss their computers or copy any documents-anything they find in that house (or business premises).

As the premier (Nu Labour !)thundered on TV that criminals should now tremble in their boots, a leading criminal barrister said it was a legal charter to plant evidence.

The AFP (Oz version of the FBI) already have that power and as recently seen in the Dr Haneef case-an entirely innocent doctor remotely related to someone arrested over the Glasgow Airport bombings because he gave them a sim card with it's emaining credit when leaving the UK 18 months before-was incarcerated for weeks and illegally charged (with AFP officers lying to the courts) and even the prosecutor now admitting he lied, before Haneef's very clever local lawyer pulled the case apart.

Dr Haneef-now employed as a doctor in the Middle East will eventualy get $$multi-millions in compensation. The police, government lawyers-former government minister-all who lied on oath remain scot free, uncharged and never will be.

During the charade-these police releasd seized holiday photos of the Doctor and his wife on holiday on the Gold Coast in front of the countries tallest apartment block (100 stories or so and dozens daily line up to have their snap taken) as proof they were probably planning how to blow up the building..naturally the Murdoch press exagerated and lapped up every word.

But hey..this is all because of those terrorists..we must give up all rights so we can be free !!

But that doesn't include roller-blading pensioners terrorising pedestrians !

Sadly police have targets they have to meet. They don't set those targets. If they don't meet them they lose funding.

Our local Chief Constable has abandoned targets. He said it detracts from real police and it is more important to put the oficers on the street where they can be more effective. Apparently it's at the discretion of the Chief Constable whether a particular force abides by government targets.

Unfortunately we haven't seen the police on the beat yet.

The POLICE have surrendered the streets to the criminals as the Oxford Street footage shows.

They now hide behind CCTV cameras and only "prosecute" thought crime.

They are therefore STATE POLICE now and not ordinary bobbies or protectors of the public.

They certainly do not do any crime prevention.

I remember that driving on a Motorway you would always see a Police Patrol car on the raised up areas and often one in the inside lane every 10 miles or so. These days you dont see any. The roads have been given up as well for CCTV. But the moment a CELEB arrest takes place on the motorway tens of blacked out cars arrive as if by magic with helicopters and FILM crews in attendance.......

Crazy UK.
