it's politicians who are devoid of policies and go on a moral rampage to cover it up.
No-one should be confused-there is an active witch-hunt that outstrips the days of Salem in the number of victims and sex is the excuse. And that's because everyone is having it in one form or another.
There is no logical reason why a teacher cannot have an affair with a sudent if they are of consenting age.
In what way is it harmful?
It may break up in bitterness but that is one of life's lessons-relationships aren't all hearts and flowers.
Mantras are built over time-if its repeated long enough that a person in power can manipulate someone, then we aren't teaching young people how to resist manipulation. Considering most of the rubbish taught to kids today, life skills should be a paramount subject.
The only things I've used that I learnt in school, in virtualy a lifetime of employement, are english and maths. And both of those I excelled at so they were a natural skill.I can't remember what all the other rubbish was I was 'taught'.
Sex is continally being used to bring citizens into line as we see with appaling abuses of young people in the USA and the charging of a 14 year old girl. We see it in the phoney 'Alfie' tale when the world's biggest publisher attempted to financially profit (and probably did) of a tale of illicit sex.
Not one single word of condemnation from gutless polticians who will line up to kiss the feet of Rebeccah Wade-purveyor of soft pornogaphy.
Private Eye may well condemn the pornographer Richard Desmond owner of the Daily Express yet he's actually more honest.
Nor do they even know most of the time what the hell they are talking about. As the Australian Minister for Communications continues on his hopeless charade to filter the internet here, like China and iran (where it doesn't work in practice)..rather than back-down as the entire industry tells him he is just plain wrong..he goes on TV to rabbit about a few 1000 evil website promoting "incest" and child rape etc that he has banned. (deliciously-that night his own website was hacked into with a load of nonsense placed on it)
Yet a cursory glance at the list..available at wikileaks.org..shows they are all adult porn sites..the 'incest' are the usual East European fantasy sites with 'teens' in their 30's .
But hey !..whats a few $M down the drain on a pipe dream.At least those 1000s of kids who are brutally abused daily through neglect are safe form the net !!
And I've finally had a reply from the Attorney General's office where I questioned why the right-wing AG continues to call people "registered sex offendors" when there is no such thing in NSW-rather a "child protection register" on which anyone convicted of certain offences must sign that obligates them to aknowledge their conviction if seeking a job with children.
That's people convicted of "exposure" for pissing against a wall and a whole range of things..but not for murdering a child.
An underling calls it merely "semantics". I've written back to say..no, it isn't "semantics" , the AG ( a barrister)is talking nonsense about a non-existent body of people...or if they exist could he please identify them.
On the whole-politicians are creeps because they will never back down and say they've made a mistake , let's correct it and move on. That alone whould be grounds for not electing them..we all make mistakes. But these people will invade another country on a pack of lies-kill the citizens and still sleep soundly at night.
There is one delight in getting old..you become fearless. I can't wait until I'm officially a pensioner..they're the only voters politicians are frightened of !
