BNP copper sacked 15 Years, 2 Months ago

Whatever happened to freedom of speech, surely anyone should be able to support whichever pollitical party they wish. Maybe New Labour are worried that the BNP are taking away many of their supporters. After all new labour don't represent the working classes anymore. Their policies depress their wages and make their jobs insecure.
It is an absolute outrage that people can't support whichever political party they wish.

whatever one thinks of the BNP even policeman are surely allowed to belong to political parties ?

I'm not sure of the rules but this needs explanation. He should only be judged on how he does his job..not how he thinks.

It is illegal (since 2004 I think) for a serving Police office to be a member of a perfectly legal party...it is made more ridiculous her by the fact that this particular officer was a member for one year, was joined by a family member and never donated to or used his membership in any way. Rulings like this surely create racism and anger where none previously existed.
