Interesting because it points out some disturbing figures such as the fact that sales of The Sun increased and the OK! mags have been big sellers. It all proves the sad point that too many people in Britain allow themselves to get caught up in this pathetic saga.

As Noel Gallagher pointed out a few days ago, there are a great many serious issues we all need to be taking into account and thinking about, but the British media ignore anything that is serious and focus upon trivia like the Goody saga.

It makes me despair... no bloody wonder we are now effectively an Orwellian state because the British public seem to prefer burying their heads in the sand and if that is the case, the the enforced introduction of the ID Card scheme will, given from this evidence be a walkover. And that is disturbing.

It is time for everyone to wake up - banish Clifford to the Tower Of London to rot and fight for our eroding freedoms.

What kind of an idiot are you ? Gee, the newspapers cannot all be covering serious issues and the public react to what they bloody want.

All the celebs like that obnoxious untalented baboon called Noel Gallagher (Oasis being lauded for being a glorified Beatles cover band), crawling out of the woodwork to kick sand in Jade Goody's face are cashing in on her tragedy and using it to further their own ends.

As is everyone on here albeit on a smaller scale. Let's not be hypocritical and pretend about it.
