Might I point visitors interested in the false allegations industry towards the excellent monthly Safari newsletter - produced by friends of mine it is astonishing how many (unreported elsewhere) false accusations end up with acquittals or overturnings (eventually) and even, sometimes, jailings of the liars.

Exellent site,unfortunately not one that attracts anywhere near enough attention.

some of the responses from the government are very disengeuous.

They range from expressing n unwillingness to change a law because the courts have found a certain way to be correct, to correctly stating that Parliament makes laws yet ignoring that it's basically the party in power that changes law.

They are "political" answers that don't address the issues raised in petitions.

Yet we have seen clear evidence of numerous examples of the courts getting it dreadfully wrong.

For the past 20 years or so it's been a feature of governments to semingly introduce whole rafts of laws that affect very single aspect of a citizen's life which negates the answers to petitioners that all is rosy.

They seem hell bent on imposing new laws whilst avoiding good government. The great melt-down is a clear example of this. Whilst Wall St and the City did the mis-deeds, blame should be sheeted home to those responsible-the governments of the day how allowed and encoraged private enterprise to pursue an orgy of financial irresponsibility.

Some days I think arnachy is the only answer.
