Soldiers die in Afghanistan. British citizens lose more civil rights. The nation is in serious recession. MPs continue to be caught dipping their fingers into the till.

So the media bring out the P word again. It has become the standard smokescreen to cover up the genuine bad news. People see the P word and suddenly nothing else matters.

Hundreds of paedophiles escape with a caution is one of today's headlines. MPs are up in arms and demanding stiffer penalties. But do they look beyond the statistic? Do they realise that sexual assault can mean simply giving a child an affectionate pat on the shoulder? Remember the vicar who had to step down after giving a child a conghratulatory peck on the cheek when peresenting her with an award? This all used to be normal human behaviour, before Labour began their campaign to make everything a crime.

On BBC radio this morning they were promoting a campaign to encourage children to play in the parks and the countryside. Why don't they play outside anymore? was the question. The answer is that the media have played a major part in frightening parents into believing that every bush hides a paedophile, and that any stranger is a danger.

If "paedophiles" are being let off with a caution, you can be sure that they are no danger to children. Former newsreader Julia Sommerville was given a caution for having a photograph of her baby in the bath. Today she would be part of these statistics. Would we really want to see her do jail time? The media love to play with the P word, but they always fail to put things into proportion.

So, this morning, there will be numerous parents, and most likely a few vigilante types, fuming over their breakfast and raging about how more "those animals" should be locked up and never released. They will never be given the full facts. The fantasy is much more convenient for controlling opinion.

Not one reporter or poltician would have examined hese figures to discover what is actually meant by "paedophiles" ( a word that has been completely corrupted by the media)

There is another, in my opinion, complete nutcase who really should be in Broadmoor or out of harms way..a Mrs Shy Keenan, an outspoken "child advocate" (these peope are horrendously dangerous as they are of limited inteligence yet because they claim to be child advocates-they are given credence..that's all it takes)

She has got the ears of politicians (probably the home benefits fraudster Jacqui Smith with the vile porno viewing husband) with her quite insane campaign to now alert the authorities to the new rash of "speed assaults".

This involves "paedophiles " who walk quickly down a street and "brush" a child with a sleight of hand that is so fast that no-one including the child knows they have been "assaulted". Not one case has been presented as proof..it's all in the mind of Keenan.

I mean,can you believe anyone actually taking this rubbish seriously ?.It's coming from a nutter. ..this person is in serious need of psychiatric help yet she has government supporters. Truly a case of the lunatics running the asylum.

I gather she's also campaigning to have the idea of children sitting on the laps of Santa at Christmas banned !
