I have been saying this on this forum for years. The real offenders have "deals" with the police to protect them - in fact only "celebs" "Vicars" "teachers" are targets ( for fear and media )

I believe those getting cautions are not committing real sexual offences at all, just acts which this government have classified as sex offences, like an embrace or a photo of your baby in the bath. Most of these result ina caution. A jury would be unlikely to convict, because they know they've done the same, but those accused are so fearful of any court appearance and media coverage that they accept a caution. It's not a case of people making sinister deals with the police.

But a caution is an admission of guilt which means your career would be over in many walks of life.

What is suprising is that only 145 paedophiles were successfully convicted in 2007 in the UK.

This shows how the media over-reacts to such a small number of convicted offenders - of which perhaps half or more are either mentally ill or fitted up by false allegations.

The real abusers meanwhile hide in the Houses of Parliament and in high profile Government jobs where they consider themselves untouchable.

I'm not too sure you are correct BR. I think the cops like nothing better than a high profile arrest..politician or pop star..any will do.

The police now have PR agents who are just like others,sending out releases that exagerate. So many publications have laid off journalists that what is in a police press release is simply reported as fact with a bit of re-writing.

Up to 20 years ago a press release was just a signal to investigate something further..that no longer happens even in important matters like crime.

Thus a story gets re-printed over and over like it's fact and you end up with a complete fantasy sweeping the world - Haute de la Guerre.

What is more likely in this report is that plenty of those so-caled "peadophile" attacks are incidents like a person patting a child on the backside in unthinking moment and the police simply can't prove it.

There are 2 disturbing trends in law enforcement:

1. the caution is like the US practise of pleading for a lesser crime to avoid jail. This has become a giant rort where prosecutors get convictions and innocent people plead some guilt to avoid a soul destroying trial and jail.

2. Those cautioned becoming offical "sex offendors" .Those accused of a crime involving so-called sex (the definition having expanded-another reason to have those criminalising "sex" psychiatically examined).is a clear case of accusing persons of being guilty of other crimes rather than the one incident.

ie: you are busted once for shop-lifting and then regarded as serial shop-lifter when it isn't true.

Sex is now used-being one of the most common human activities-to sweep up as many people as possible. We are breeding generations of kids to think their bodies are evil despite their natural inclinations.

Thus you get the Alfie scenario..a complete shambles yet an extraordinary exposure of today's menatlity..everything is a lie !

As for children and the fears authorities (and their partners in crime-newspapers) are promoting..they would best off warning parents of the dangers in their own homes where more children die every year because of accidents , than will ever encounter a real peadophile.

Another condemnation of politicians..they simply don't give a stuff abiout children unless it's useful for politics.

Otherwise they'd be discussing at the G20 meeting the 400,000 children who will die as a direct result of the melt-down..(figures from the head of the World Bank..not mine) plus the 25000 who die every day in Africa (a few less with Madonna & Oprah's help).
