TOPIC: my Royal encounter

veritas

my Royal encounter 15 Years, 1 Month ago
off last night to a small party being hosted by nightclub entrepreneur Justin Hemmes at his new $200M complex, Ivy in Sydney.

Knowing it's notoriously slow and tiny lifts I rush to one just as the doors are closing and squeeze in.

The other occupants-3 young girls and a man who gives me a bit of a dirty look, eyeing the tiny camera around my neck. It's Princess Eugenie, friends and a detective.

6th in line from the throne ? mmmm..

I think Alex meant 'who cares?'

Minor royals in lifts etc.

BTW, my cat has the flu.

Some people like a bit of gossip.

It was only a short post which, if holds no interest, can be easily ignored. I remember John Peel telling us how he was once in a lift with Cliff Richard. It's just an interesting piece of trivia.

I now know that Princess Eugenie was in Sydney, and that she seems to have no fear of lifts. Pity you didn;t get a pic, Veritas. I'd love to know what she was wearing.

Not everyday you get to meet royals!
Except of course you've already met the King.

Re:my Royal encounter 15 Years, 1 Month ago
well I got in a lift once with Cliff Richard so I feel John Peel and I were kindred souls.

last year I got in a lift in the hotel where Michael Hutchence hanged himself, and a strange little man asked me how it worked and when I pressed the button and he got out at the first floor, other passengers told me it was Bob Dylan.

Now I remember..I also got in one with the Dali Lama but police stopped it at a floor and asked me to get off.

I'm a sort of celebrities in elevator groupie.

I'm sorry about your sick pussy Selma.

Yes I recently met Elvis - he's running a burger van at Old Trafford.

You could say that about most Internet posts; indeed, about most media commentary these days.

Trivia and superficiality rool in this Twitterverse.

Not always a bad thing. Life need not always be entirely deep and serious.

Maybe most internet posts are pointless but I think it right to try and weed out the frequent meaningless ones from the same posters, such a veritas. Do you not JK ?
