Jade - the reality finally gets spoken 15 Years, 1 Month ago
To the fury of Satan's Servant Max Clifford (Lurch the butler) - described in today's Mail as "the ringmaster of the grotesque and absurd" - first Parkinson (well said Michael) and then A.N.Wilson begin telling the truth and the tabloids, devoid of further positive gush, finally publish the views of the hitherto silent majority.
My personal feeling is that Clifford is on the verge of exposure.

He's well practiced at the art of survival,as are all parasites.
Be oh so nice if he were to be though.

When writers like Christopher Hitchens spoke out against the romanticising and glorfication over Diana's death there was nothing like the fan outrage following Parky's very observant view.
Full marks to Goody for being able to cash in on an illness but the way in which the general public has been seduced to swallow every bit of rubbish about a complete non personality is truly a sign of the times.

I was very pleased to read Parky's comments. 100% true and felt by the majority. It is time people were revered for their talent and good work. Unfortunately the media like to knock down successful people and concentrate on those that are famous for being ... what exactly?

Did/does anyone else feel that the whole Jade saga seems to be the result of a "Pygmalion"-style wager where someone (Clifford? Murdoch?) bets he can take the most hated woman in Britain and turn her into a national heroine within a year?
That (or mass-hypnosis) is the only explanation for this ongoing madness...
