The Sun - impressively accurate or frighteningly deceptive? 15 Years, 1 Month ago
On p5 today they describe the charges against the children as "attempted murder and horrific sexual abuse".

No other news outlet carries this startling revelation. Attempted murder and robbery seem to be the reported charges elsewhere. The CPS say "each brother would be charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of robbery".

I'm not totally convinced by the thinking behind it anyway but there's a story here for someone, somewhere.

Let's hear the truth Ben Ashford, Sun reporter in court.

I won't comment on the charges, because all I know is from the press myself.

However interesting to note,as mentioned before, the boys are not legally able to consent to sexual acts committed to them. But can be charged with committing them against other minors.
Another example of the stupidity of English law.

marvellous isn't it ?

a newspaper can slather over a tale that allegedly includes child sex amd attempted murder but the story of man going about his business who is set upon by a masked bully of a thug wearing a police uniform, who is shoved to the ground in a cowardly fashion, is simply reported word for word as the coppers re-tell it. Days later we hear it's all bollocks.

What a ghastly newspaper The Sun is.

The f**wit Ben Ashford should get a decent job-he isn't a reporter who seeks out facts and truth.

The police are covering up hour by hour this murder and now they have carried out a TERROR RAID to try and take the heat off them.

They STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN and THE SUN is their Press Agency.

SHAME ON THE POLICE - they are quite simply the SCUM OF SOCIETY and dont deserve to Police the people. They have lost all respect from all decent people.
