This is the "official" labour blog on the internet. Could not believe how bad it was and how you have to register in order to have any say or even read what people are saying.
Like everything else "labour" it is a controlled space totally against the spirit of the internet.
Take this forum/blog run by JK. Many people disagree with JK but he always allows comments and never adopts a I am right and you are wrong approach. He allows free speech.
This is why this blog is worth reading because people feel safe to express their opinions and know that no one will "flame" them but everyone will put their point forward.
The problem with the way in which Jacqui Smith and Brown treat the internet is that they want to control all words published and rubbish anyone who disagrees with them. That is their idea of free speech. Of course they disagree with the offensive stuff of Mcbride - but it goes deeper than that.
I believe we need a general election sooner rather than later in order to get the UK back on track. The country is lurching from one crisis to another on a daily basis and it undermines us all.
